If this is your first time here, and you are a student of Steve's at Cal Poly Pomona, click at the top of the screen on the right side of the page to "login". At the bottom of the next page you'll be allowed to  "Create an Account". Apply for an account (Cookies must be enabled in your browser).

In developing an account, use the "username" associated with your @csupomona.edu email account so that grades can be coordinated. You will develop a password of your choice that you can remember. The password must be 6 characters in length and should involve no repeat of characters (e.g. "fuun").

Once you have registered for an account you will receive email at whatever email account you specify in order to verify connection (Warning: prepare your spam blockers!). In that email you'll find a link and return to the site. At this time you'll be required to input a Course Key number available from Steve. If you've not gotten that from class, contact him at sciman@csupomona.edu or ring 949 496 3774.

Here's a very short intro to Moodle. It encourages you to go off to http://school.demo.moodle.net/ -- which is a great idea. There you can "learn by doing" from many perspectives. Have fun playing the role of an administrator or teacher, as well as a student. It's all about collaborative learning. You will find inside our Moodle that I've also created a course in "How to Moodle" though you'll need to have completed the site registration process before you'll be allowed to post there.
